SIMPLY GIVE IS BACK!

simply give was a huge success last year! not only did you get a chance to make random people smile and happy for the day/week, you also helped me raise $1,000 for the valentine family with simply give's silent auction! i will be hosting another auction for the ~snyder family~ my friend, christina of grace designs photography brought this family to my attention. this is what she has to say about the lovely family:

Dan & Monica are an amazing, inspiring couple who have two beautiful daughters, Delaney (8) & Danica (almost 4). I could literally write a book about the hardships they've been through since marrying 10 years ago, but to give you the gist, their youngest daughter, Danica suffers from a Chiari malformation & she endured 2 brain/spinal surgeries before her third birthday. Due to extensive traveling to see specialists & give Danica the follow-ups & therapy she needs to survive, Dan & Monica have both missed a ton of work & Monica ultimately had to quit her job to care for Danica full-time, who has been wearing a neck collar/brace since her last surgery in October 2010. Dan & Monica have both had serious health issues, as well, and big sister Delaney is healthy & happy, but Dan & Monica often struggle with guilt from knowing that much of the time they could be doing "normal" things as a family, they are instead indoors, due to Danica's physical limitations. The most recent obstacle they faced was the decision to give up their home & move into Monica's parents' basement. They are beyond grateful for loving parents who generously opened up their home to them, but no husband & wife dreams of giving up their independence & moving back in with their parents due to lack of funds, whatever the cause. The amount of medical bills the Snyders have is huge & there are more bills coming in all the time.
